Christian Dreger

Christian Dreger is Professor for Macroeconomics at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt/Oder and Research Director International Economics at the DIW Berlin. Before 2005, he worked as researcher at the Institute for Economic Research in Halle. He studied economics at the Freie Universität Berlin and holds a doctoral and habilitation degree in Economics from the University of Kassel. He has conducted many national and international research projects and published extensively in leading international journals in the relevant fields. His main areas of expertise are international business cycle analysis, monetary policy, financial markets and macroeconometric modelling.
