»Patent pools. A Contribution to the Correction of Misalignments in Competition Law«: The concept of patent pools, as an example of the tension between intellectual property rights and competition law, was the occasion to assess this instrument from the perspective of the current legal framework. In the book, patent pools are assessed from a practice-oriented point of view and thus misalignments of the current antitrust law are identified, which, in addition to making patent pools more difficult to set up, also have an innovation-inhibiting effect. The author argues that an ex-ante control procedure should be introduced and how it should be designed.
