UN-Jubiläum

In our programme there are a lot of titles on fundamental topics regarding the United Nations. In 2012, we published the book »Ein Mann, der wurde, was er konnte«, a critical acclaim of the multifaceted personality of and manifold achievements of Dag Hammerskjöld, the second Sectretary-General of the United Nations.

September 2011 marked the 50th anniversary of Dag Hammarskjölds death. The conference proceedings »Ein Mann, der wurde, was er konnte« (»A man who became what he was able to do«) focuses on the one hand on Hammarskjöld`s work as second UN Secretary-General and statesman. On the other hand, the volume takes a look at the human being and mystic Dag Hammarskjöld.
