Peer Review Policy

Monographs & Multi-authored Volumes

All books published by D&H must comply with very strict quality standards and are subject to a thorough peer review. The standard procedure requires two independent experts in the respective subject area. In the case of academic qualification papers, a minimum grade of ›magna cum laude‹ is mandatory. Additionally, if applicable, series editor(s) ensure the highest quality by a further assessment and selection. Usually, the volume and/or series editor(s) arrange for the rule-based review process. Otherwise, D&H commissions at least one external expert from its broad network.
