Patrick Wegner

Patrick Wegner is employed as a policy advisor for the CDU/CSU Parliamentary Group in the German Bundestag. Prior to this, he worked in various areas of the Bundestag administration - including the secretariat of the Committee on Legal Affairs and Consumer Protection and as a lawyer in Stuttgart. After studying in Bayreuth and Hanover, Patrick passed his bar exam in Lower Saxony and received a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Osnabrück. Prior to his legal training, he completed an apprenticeship as a bank clerk. He received his doctorate in 2020 at the Georg-August-University of Göttingen under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Frank Schorkopf
