Tom Langerhans

Tom Langerhans studied law in Hamburg (Bucerius Law School) and Paris (Sciences Po) with a focus on the philosophy and theory of law. He then completed his Ph.D. thesis at the Humboldt-University of Berlin on a criminal law topic. During his legal traineeship, he worked at the Federal Ministry of Justice in the department for Fundamental Rights. After his second state examination, he worked as a lawyer in the field of data, media and technology. Tom Langerhans was appointed as a judge in Berlin at the end of 2019.
