Thomas Simon

Thomas Simon passed exams in 1986 (1. Juristisches Staatsexamen, Universität Göttingen) and 1989 (2. Juristisches Staatsexamen, Land Baden-Württemberg). PhD, University of Freiburg/Br., in 1995 with a monography about the development of the late medieval and early modern state. In 2003 Habilitation at the University of Frankfurt/M about history of the Science of Administration.  Visiting Professor in Erlangen, Köln and Tartu (Estonia).  Since 2006 he is Full Professor at the Faculty of Law of the Vienna University, Austria, teaching there Austrian Legal and Constitutional History.
