Stefan Simon

The author studied law in Bayreuth and Birmingham (U.K.) and holds the degrees Wirtschaftsjurist (Univ. Bayreuth) und Master of Laws (LL.M.). He received scholarships from the Hanns-Seidel-Foundation and from the German Academic Scholarship Foundation. After his studies, he worked as a research assistant at the University of Bayreuth (Prof. Dr. Hinnerk Wißmann, Prof. Dr. Stephan Rixen) and at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (Prof. Dr. Jens Kersten) and completed his legal traineeship in Munich, having also worked for Noerr and Siemens. After serving as a judge at the Administrative Court of Ansbach, he joined the Bavarian State Ministry for Building and Transport in August 2019.
