Simon Gelze

Simon Gelze studied law at the Humboldt University in Berlin and at the Istanbul University. He passed his first state examination in law in 2016. Afterwards he began his doctorate with his supervisor Prof. Christian Waldhoff at the Humboldt-University. He completed his doctorate in 2018. Both his studies and his doctorate were supported by the Hans Böckler Foundation. In the meantime, he worked as a research assistant in the law firm Redeker/Sellner/Dahs, which is especially known for its expertise in public law. During his legal clerkship at the Berlin Court of Appeal, he worked in the first committee of the German Bundestag and at the Federal Constitutional Court. Simon Gelze is currently a judge at the Berlin Administrative Court.
