Annelie Siemsen
Annelie Siemsen studied law at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg, Germany, from 2009 to 2017, during which time she earned two degrees – an undergraduate major in European and International Law as well as a PhD focusing on data privacy, for which she studied under Prof. Dr. Jasper Finke. During her academic career, she has spent time studying abroad in Shanghai, China, working at a German/Danish law firm in Copenhagen, Denmark, and serving as a research fellow at the Centre for Security and Society – Project KORSE. Since 2017, she has been employed by the Berlin Superior Court of Justice, serving rotations with the German Ministry of Justice and the German Embassy in Washington, DC.
