Sophie Schurowski completed her law degree with special focus on business and tax in Dresden and London. Since 2013 she has worked in the Financial Service Tax area at Price Waterhouse Coopers. Due to a doctoral scholarship granted by the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation e. V. she was able to work full-time on her thesis between 2016 and 2017, supervised by Prof. Arnd Uhle, holder of the chair for Public Law, in particular Constitutional Law, Theory of the State and Constitutional Theory at the Leipzig University. She was awarded her doctorate degree in 2019. Since 2017 she works as an authorized officer in the field of international tax at Hauck & Aufhäuser Privatbankiers in Frankfurt am Main. She is (Co-)author of a variety of publications on German, European and international tax law matters.
