Sascha Ruppert-Karakaş
Sascha Ruppert-Karakas completed his Bachelor's degree in Political Science and History and his Master's degree in Political Science from 2014-2021 at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich. Since September 2021, he is a research assistant at the Chair of Political Theory at the Geschwister-Scholl-Institute Munich. Until January 2024, he completed his doctorate on the political theory of Carl Schmitt, which serves as the basis for the development of a qualitative analysis model for the exploration of authoritarian politics in Assad's Syria. His further academic focus includes research on the ideologies of the New Right in Germany.
