Ryu Okazaki

Ryu Okazaki studied philosophy and social sciences at the universities of Osaka, Waseda and Hitotsubashi in Tokyo (Japan) and the Humboldt University in Berlin. He was a fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. In 2021, he received his doctorate from the Faculty of Philosophy at Humboldt University of Berlin. He is currently a part-time lecturer at Dokkyo University, Kyoto University and Ritsumeikan University (Japan). His research interests include the practical philosophy of classical German philosophy and Judith Butler's critical theory.
