Robert Christian van Ooyen, Prof. Dr. phil, studied political science and philosophy as well as constitutional, European and international law in Vienna, Duisburg, Bonn and Basel; formerly lecturer at the Universities of Duisburg, Berlin (FU) and Dresden; Professor at the Hochschule des Bundes (Federal University of Applied Administrative Sciences); since 2017 Honorarprofessor of political science at TU Dresden; co-editor of the »Jahrbuch Öffentliche Sicherheit« (JBÖS) and member of the editorial board of »Recht und Politik« (RuP), Berlin; research interests: Political Theory, Constitutional Law and Politics.
