Raphael Hilser

Raphael Hilser studied law at the University of Freiburg. After passing the First State Examination in Law in 2019, he worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Foreign and International Private Law, Dept. II, of the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg, directed by Prof. Dr. Hanno Merkt, LL.M. (University of Chicago). His dissertation was supervised by Prof. Dr. Jan Lieder, LL.M. (Harvard). He received his doctoral degree in November 2021. Since April 2021, Raphael Hilser is a LLM-Student at London School of Economics and Political Science.
