Oliver Nißing

The author studied law at the University of Bielefeld from 2005 on. While studying in Bielefeld, he already started working at the chair in criminal and criminal procedural law held by Prof. Dr. Stephan Barton. After his studies, the author completed his legal clerkship at the district court in Essen and returned as research assistant to the University of Bielefeld. Again, he worked for Prof. Dr. Stephan Barton but also for the chair of Prof. Dr. Anne Sanders M. Jur. (Oxford) and for the law faculty’s academical student advisory service. During his research, he was engaged in topics concerning criminal procedural and methodical matters and judicial independence.
