Nadir Weber
Nadir Weber is Professor of History at the University of Bern. After completing his doctorate in the field of modern diplomatic history, he turned to research on human-animal relations at early modern princely courts. His publications on this topic include the volumes »Animals and Courts: Europe, c. 1200–1800« (ed. with Mark Hengerer, De Gruyter, 2020) and »Hege und Herrschaft: Höfische Jagdtiere in der europäischen Vormoderne« (Böhlau, 2023). Currently, he is leading a research project on political secrecy in early modern republics.
