Monique Marylou Martinek

Monique Marylou Martinek studied law at Philipps-Universität Marburg and at Università degli Studi La Sapienza Rome from 2010 to 2017. Pursuant to the First State Examination, she was a doctoral candidate and research assistant at the Chair of Civil Law, Private International Law and Comparative Law (Prof. Dr. Tobias Helms). Her PhD studies were supported by a scholarship from Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom. From 2019 to 2020, she completed her LL.M. studies at the Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali (LUISS) in Rome. Since February 2021, she has been a legal trainee at the Berlin Court of Appeal including stages in Berlin and New York.
