Michael Rohrschneider
In 2016, Michael Rohrschneider has become professor for Early Modern History and Rhenish Regional History and director of the Centre for Historical Peace Studies at the University of Bonn. From 1988 to 1993, he studied Medieval and Modern History, Modern Literature and Political Science in Bonn and received his PhD in 1997. He qualified as university lecturer in 2005 by habilitation at the University of Cologne. In his research, Rohrschneider focusses on Early Modern and Regional History, the history of Brandenburg-Prussia and Historical peace and conflict research.
