Josef H. Mayer
Josef H. Mayer is a specialist in administrative law in Potsdam. He studied law in Cologne and at the Freie Universität Berlin. Between the two legal state exams, he completed a newspaper traineeship at the Berliner Tagesspiegel. He then worked as a scientific assistant in the Berlin House of Representatives, then in the Senate Department for Urban Development and Environmental Protection, finally as head of the nuclear licensing authority. From 1990 to 1996 he was full-time mayor of the city of Fulda (Hessen). Since then he has been working as a lawyer.
