Martin Göttgen

Martin Göttgen studied law at the University of Trier. After his first state exam he worked for Prof. Dr. Bernd Hecker and Prof. Dr. Till Zimmermann. In 2018 he began his legal clerkship at the District Court of Mainz. From november 2017 to february 2019 he worked as an editor for the Journal JuS (Juristische Schulung), where he worked before as proofreader for more than six years. 2015 he won first prize at the essay contest by the Foundation of Hessian attorneys concerning »Deals in criminal trials. May the accused ›buy‹ himself out?«. Göttgen lives with his wife and daughter in Mainz-Marienborn and loves music and travelling.
