Martin Burgi

Martin Burgi completed his postdoctoral thesis in 1998 and was appointed Professor of Public and European Law at Ruhr-University Bochum in 1999. Since 2012, he has been Professor of Public and Administrative Law at Ludwig-Maximilian-University in Munich and Director of the Research Center for Public Procurement Law and Administrative Cooperation.

Professor Burgi is co-editor of the journal »Die Verwaltung« and has been chairman of the Association of German Lecturers in Constitutional Law from 2014 to 2016. He has been Visiting Professor at The George Washington University Law School, Washington D.C. since 2007 and at King’s College London since 2016.
