Markus Löffelmann

The author is professor of national and international security law at the Federal University of Administrative Science in Berlin. Previously, he worked as judge at the Regional Court and Higher Regional Court of Munich, prosecutor, lawyer at the Federal Ministry of Justice and the Federal Constitutional Court and head of the German support project for the establishment of the African Human Rights Court. In addition, he was active as a parliamentary expert in numerous legislative procedures on security law at federal and state level.
