Marcus Warnke
Marcus Warnke studied history at the University of Potsdam. He specialized in military history and focused on early modern warfare. He graduated with a study concerning the logistics of the Prussian army during the campaign of Leuthen. This book, his PhD-dissertation, evolved from it. He was granted a scholarship by the Gerda-Henkel-Foundation, which enabled him to conduct intense research in the archives and to examine nearly all operations of 1757 in a comparative manner.
