Maja Serafin

Maja Serafin, born in Zlotoryja, Poland, studied law at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow and continued her legal education at the Faculty of Law at the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg. During her postgraduate studies (LL.M.) she received a scholarship from Deutschland Stipendium. From 2015 to 2019 she was a doctoral candidate of the Criminal Law Department at the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Criminal Law in Freiburg. She also worked as a research assistant in the Otto Hahn Group »Architecture of Security Law«. After receiving her doctorate degree, she continues her legal training in Germany.
