Xinyi Liu

Xinyi Liu studied law and German studies in China at the Wuhan University from 2010 to 2014 as a bachelor's degree. From 2012 to 2013 she spent two semesters abroad at the Philipps University of Marburg. After receiving her bachelor's degree, she completed a master's degree (LL.M.) with a focus on criminology and international criminal law at the University of Cologne from 2015 to 2017. From 2017 to 2021, she wrote her dissertation under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Martin Paul Waßmer and completed her doctorate at the University of Cologne.
