Matthias F. Kraatz

Matthias F. Kraatz studied law at the University of Heidelberg and at the Humboldt University of Berlin. After his graduation in 2016 he started his doctoral studies, worked as a research assistant in an international law firm and at the chair for private and business law at the Humboldt University of Berlin, held by professor Stefan Grundmann. He also conducted a research stay at King’s College London in 2017. From 2019 onwards he served as an articled clerk at the Court of Appeals in Berlin and passed the bar exam in 2021. Also in 2021 he was awarded with a PhD in law at the Humboldt University of Berlin. Since Nov. 2021 Matthias F. Kraatz serves as a judge in Berlin.
