Kathrin Wahlmann

Kathrin Wahlmann studied law and french law at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster and the Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas. After her legal clerkship in the OLG district of Oldenburg, she was appointed judge in the district of the OLG Hamm in 2007. In 2010, she was appointed judge for life at the Bielefeld Regional Court. From 2013 to 2017, she was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament. Since 2018, she has been a judge at the Osnabrück Regional Court. From 2017 to 2019, she wrote the dissertation »Maternity protection and parental leave for members of parliament« at the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Universität Hannover, where she received her doctorate in May 2020.
