Joanna Melz

Joanna Melz completed her law studies at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) and at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (Poland). She completed her legal clerkship in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Brandenburg an der Havel. Until 2021, she was a research assistant at the Chair of Criminal Law, Law of Criminal Procedure and Criminology of Prof. Dr. Dr. Uwe Scheffler at the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) and received her PhD there in 2020. She is currently a research assistant at the Chair of Criminal Law, in particular European Criminal Law and International Criminal Law of Prof. Dr. Gudrun Hochmayr at the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder).
