Irene Strenge

Irene Strenge, law studies 1968 – 1972 in Tübingen, Lausanne and Hamburg, obtained her doctorate 1992 with: »Changes on territory and changes in administrative structures in Altona 1927 and 1937/1938«, lawyer 1976 - 2008. She has published several works on legal history of the end of the Weimar Republic and beginning of the Nazi-Regime: Machtübernahme 1933 – alles auf legalem Weg?; Kurt von Schleicher; Ferdinand von Bredow (Verlag Duncker & Humblot), but also about the laws of Babylonian ruler Hammurapi and the German occupation policy during the First World War in Spa, Belgium.
