Margund Hinz

Margund Hinz studied pedagogy for learning and speech disabilities as well as German language and literature at the Humboldt University in Berlin. In 1994, she gave a guest lecture at the German Department of the University of California at Davis. After 1st and 2nd state exams, she worked in teaching for thirteen years. In 2005, her first scientific publication, »The History of the Speech Therapy Sector in East Prussia from its Beginnings to 1945«, was published. In 2020, she received her PhD from the Institute of European Studies and Historical Sciences at Chemnitz University of Technology. She researches, lectures and publishes on (educational) historical topics of the 19th and 20th centuries.
