Heiko Holste

Heiko Holste, Doctor of Law, holds the rank of Minister Counselor in the German Federal President’s office. Previously, he worked for the leadership of the German Ministries of Justice and of the Interior. In 2002, he published his book Der deutsche Bundesstaat im Wandel 1867–1933 (The German Federal State in Transition 1867–1933). His book Warum Weimar? (Why Weimar) was published in 2018. He has been co-editor of the journal Recht und Politik (Law and Policy) since 2010.
