Anna Halbig

Anna Halbig studied law in Göttingen (Germany) and Istanbul (Turkey). Subsequently, she completed her legal traineeship at the Nuremberg Court of Appeal focusing on administration law. During this traineeship, she worked inter alia at the European Commission in Brussels and the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. Since July 2017 she has been employed at the Foundation for Environmental Energy Law, a research institute in the field of energy law, in Würzburg. In her legal work she analyses national and European issues concerning the energy transition. In 2021 she earned her doctorate at the University of Würzburg with her work »Regulatory Governance of Markets using the Example of the Balancing Energy Market«.
