Maxim Gomer studied law at the University of Bonn with a focus on corporate and capital markets law. He subsequently worked as a research assistant in the Corporate/M&A practice groups of two international law firms and as a teaching assistant for the Universities of Bonn and Cologne. He completed his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Cologne, the German-British Chamber of Industry & Commerce in London and the German Embassy in Wellington. During this time he earned a doctoral degree from the University of Hannover under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Petra Buck-Heeb. He passed the bar exam in January 2020. Today, he works as an attorney in the Global Transactions practice group of a leading international corporate law firm in Dusseldorf.
