Florian Klaeger
Florian Klaeger is professor of English at the University of Bayreuth. He is the author of a monograph on representations of Anglo-Irish history in Elizabethan England, ›Forgone Nations‹ (2006), as well as of ›Reading into the Stars‹ (2018), a study of the cosmopoetics of the contemporary novel. He holds a PhD from the University of Duesseldorf and a Habilitation from the University of Muenster. His research focuses on the functions of literary form for the creation of collective identities, and the entanglements between literature and early modern science.
