Eveline Dürr
Eveline Dürr studied Social Anthropology, Sociology and Literature at the Universities in Heidelberg, Mexico City and Freiburg. After her doctoral degree and Habilitation, she held a position as Associate Professor and Postgraduate Programme Leader at the Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand. Since 2008 she is a Professor for Social Anthropology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich. Her research interests include human-environmental relations, urban anthropology, spatiality, tourism, mobilities and identity politics. Her regional focus is on the Americas (Mexico, US-Southwest) and Oceania (New Zealand and the Transpacific).
