Dieter Grimm

Dieter Grimm teaches Public Law at Humboldt University Berlin and did so as well at the Yale Law School from 2002 to 2017. He is also a Permanent Fellow of the Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin, Institute for Advanced Study, whose director he was from 2001 to 2007. From 1987 to 1999 he served as Justice of the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany. He is a member of the Berlin-Brandenburgische Akademie der Wissenschaften, the Academia Europaea, the British Academy and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
