
David Mattern
David Mattern studied law at the University of Mannheim from 2005 until 2011. After the legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court (Oberlandesgericht) of Karlsruhe with stages in Mannheim, Speyer and Naples (Italy), he worked as a research associate at the University of Mannheim at chairs of competition law and criminal law from 2013 to 2019. In 2019, he entered the judicial service of the State of Baden-Württemberg. He worked at the Karlsruhe Public Prosecution Office and the Ministry of Economy in Baden-Württemberg. Since December 2022, he has been working as a research associate at the Federal Constitutional Court (Bundesverfassungsgericht).
