Mehmet Arslan

Mehmet Arslan pursued his law degree at the University of Ankara from 2003 to 2007. Following this, he successfully attained his master's degree (LL.M) at the Faculty of Law of Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg from 2008 to 2010. In 2015, he achieved his doctoral degree from the same university, successfully defending a thesis that examined the accused's privilege of self-incrimination in both Germany and Turkey. In 2021, he co-authored a book with Marc Engelhart, focusing on the protection of state secrets in criminal proceedings.
