»Conflict and Convergence. The concept of Human Dignity under German and European Constitutional Law«: The concept of human dignity constitutes the central and most important value, not only of the German Federal Constitution but also of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union. With an increasing overlap of national and European constitutional law the question is whether the concept of human dignity in those legal systems correspond or diverge. In this study both concepts are being analysed and compared.
