»Guarantees of Non-Repetition. Structural Remedies and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights«

The Inter-American Court of Human Rights (IACtHR) frequently orders structural remedies as guarantees of non-repetition which aim at resolving the legislative, administrative or cultural problems lying at the root of individual human rights violations. This work provides an analysis of the IACtHR’s practice with a particular focus on the Court’s competences pursuant to Art. 63 of the American Convention on Human Rights.
