Duncker & Humblot's ebook offers for North American libraries

 

Duncker & Humblot publishes approx. 300 books p.a. Per standard, each new title will simultaneously be published as PDF ebook and printed version.

Ebooks can be ordered either individually or within a collection or an ›Evidence Based Selection‹ (EBS) model. There is no minimum order requirement and no further fees are demanded. The licensee is granted perpetual online access to the content. Generally the ebook price for libraries amounts to approx. 130% of the print version's price. As an exception, textbooks are priced differently.

  • COUNTER statistics available in the admin area of the eLibrary (Release 5.0)

Purchase and Pricing Models

1. Pick & Choose:

  • no minimum order quantity
  • Pick & Choose discounts: 5% on orders of 10 titles or more, 10% discount for 50 titles or more, 15% for 100 titles or more
  • “Clear Your Shelves” offer: get 50% off on the Pick & Choose price for titles previously purchased as printed version!

 

2. Evidence-based Selection Model:

  • EBS models are available for 12 months minimum duration or more
  • EBS models either cover all available ebook titles or can be defined to cover only selected subjects (Law, Economics, Politics, and more)
  • a predominantly English-speaking readership can be taken into account in terms of pricing

  • name and address of your institution
  • library contact person
  • email address of library contact person
